Passport Validity Too Short

Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your planned departure from Egypt. Damaged or heavily stamped pages are also grounds for rejection at the e-Visa portal.

Non-compliant Passport Photo

White background, full face, no sunglasses, taken within 3 months. Selfies, coloured backgrounds and low-resolution images are automatically rejected by the Egypt e-Visa system.

Prior Egypt Immigration Issues

A previous overstay, deportation or visa refusal in Egypt creates a strong adverse record that can lead to automatic rejection of future applications.

Applied Too Close to Travel
