Common Reasons for Visa Rejection
Qatar visa rejections are avoidable — know what the Hayya portal flags
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your planned departure from Qatar. Damaged pages or a full stamp page are also grounds for rejection.
White background, full face, no glasses, recent (within 3 months). Selfies or phone screenshots are automatically rejected by the Hayya portal.
Any prior deportation, overstay, or visa refusal in Qatar or other GCC countries significantly reduces approval probability.
Qatar conducts background checks via Interpol and bilateral agreements. Applicants with criminal records or pending cases face near-certain rejection.
